11 January 2023 Throughout the novel Victor Frankenstein spends most of his life trying to create a creature that will be something to behold. During the creation of the monster Frankinstin creates the creature with reckless abandonment causing many ethical and moral issues along the way. Frankenstein’s obsession and his ambitions drives him to create a creature which causes the creature to go on a murderous rampage. During the early parts of the book Frankenstein is enamored with the prospects of creating something alive. Frankenstein was the father of the creature but he failed to uphold these responsibilities. After creating the creature Viktor ends up abandoning the creature out of fear and fright. This causes the creature to have to fend for himself and learn on his own the difference between right and wrong. When a parent abandons their child it can cause irreversible damage in the child's life. Without anyone to care for him the creature had to go out into the real world and figure out the harsh reality of how people were going to treat him. If children lack guidance they can also tend to lash out and go down dark paths and this is what happened to the creature. When the monster goes to look for his creator he stumbles upon a young boy who says he is Frankenstein's brother who he then viciously attacks and kills out of hatred for Frankenstein. This shows how Frankenstein's unethical abandonment and lack of supporting his creation caused the monster to resent his creator when then in turn led him down a dark path. If the creature had the right guidance then he could have been everything that Frankenstein wanted but instead he was a product of his own environment and since he was treated so badly without anyone to love or care for him he turned
