Who is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Be sure to use the text to prove your point. Plays, shows, and movies, all made up of different emotions and story lines. Romeo and Juliet is a Romantic Tragedy, and a very famous one at that. It is full of hardships that affect the lives of every character, and even lead to death.
Romeo and Juliet Love is defined as intense feeling of deep affection and Romeo and Juliet’s relationship didn't have that. Romeo was to focused on her physical aspects and not getting to know her. He pressured Friar lawrence into marrying them. In the book Romeo and Juliet many people are to blame for Romeo and Juliet's deaths. The people that I feel are most to blame are Friar Lawrence and Lord Capulet because of many reasons.
While Romeo and Juliet physically committed the acts that ended their own lives, Romeo should be blamed for their death and not Juliet. Although it may be reasoned that Romeo and Juliet’s relationship was destine to fail, this is not the case. If it were not for Romeo there was definitely a possibility that the marriage could have worked. Romeo pushed into relations with Juliet, murdered Tybalt and got banished, refused advice about Juliet from important elders, and most importantly poisoned himself impatiently and irrationally. Overall, all of these factors played a part in making both spouses die inevitably.
What if Romeo did not kill Tybalt? Romeo did a lot of things that caused the death of others and himself. How could the story end differently if Romeo made better choices? Could Romeo and Juliet have lived happily ever after?
The devastating death of Romeo and Juliet in “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet”, written by Shakespeare, should be blamed on more than one person. This includes Friar Laurence, Romeo and Juliet’s parents, and the two lovers themselves. Their deaths happened due to Romeo killing himself since he believed Juliet was dead, she was not. She drank a potion given to her to put her to sleep, but when she awoke to see Romeo dead, she too, killed herself. This was all caused by the forbidden love of Romeo and Juliet.
There has been lots of injustices here in Verona these past few days, and I would like to address them. After long consideration I have made a decision. As many of you know, Romeo and Juliet are both dead and there are some people to blame. I, Prince Escalus, have decided to punish Friar Laurence and Apothecary. Lucky for Capulet and Baltsar, they shall be pardoned for their mistakes.
Shakesphere starts his famous story with “A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life, whose misadventured piteous overthrows doth with their death bury their parents’ strife. ”(Prologue). Romeo and Juliet lived in the town of Verona, Italy. In Verona there was a long standing feud between two famlies; the Caplets and the Montagues. Were Romeo and Juliet to blame for their famous death?
When people sit and think about the story Romeo and Juliet they think “why did they have to die”. The reason they died was because Capulet organized a party for Paris to meet Juliet. When Capulet wrote the invitations he forgot that his servant couldn’t read. Because of this the servant had to get help from romeo to see who to give the invitations. Tybalt would later be killed by Romeo causing the capulets to want the marriage to be sooner.
There are many deaths in the story of Romeo and Juliet. Mercutio’s and Tybalt’s had been one of those that were most influential to the story. The passing of Tybalt created chaos between the two families, especially the two lovers. With Romeo banished, Juliet came to the resort of faking her death so that Romeo could save her, but as we all know, that plan
Hey, it’s Hudson Manning and you are listening to. and today I will be talking about who’s to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death. . If you don’t know, Romeo and Juliet is the most famous play ever written by William Shakespeare where basically there are two big families, the Montagues and the Capulets who are enemies, now Romeo who is a part of the Montague gets his heart broken from a girl and ends up sneaking into a Capulets party to get over her. Whilst their Romeo spots a very attractive girl called Juliet who is unfortunately a Capulet, but they are madly in love with each other and decide to get married so, these two teenagers aged 13 and 16 get married the very next day by friar Lawrence in complete secrecy from everyone in the town.
Firstly, Romeo was aware that the party he attended was hosted by the Capulet family. Knowing of the families’ feud, he still entered the party uninvited. There he met his new love interest, Juliet. Romeo was determined that she was the love of his life. He later found out that she was a Capulet.
Did love or hate have a more powerful effect on Romeo’s death? I think both had a big contribution towards his death and I have multiple reasons for why I think this. In the text “Romeo and Juliet” written by william shakespeare, love was a big addition to why romeo ended his life. When Romeo first met Juliet, it was as if he saw love at first sight.
The major causes of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths can be traced to sorrow, an emotion that is a reflect of an action that can lead someone to commit a regrettable decision. Romeo and Juliet’s love is like a flower bud in the summer air, that may turn out to be a beautiful flower by the next time they would meet again. Juliet expresses that sorrow by saying “Good night, good night!/ Parting is such sweet sorrow,/ That I shall say goodnight till it be morrow” (2.2.123-124). Juliet felt that way because she is saying goodbye to Romeo, not knowing that beauty is coming their way. Later, the Montagues and the Capulets settle in a dark peace in the morning that the sun is too sad to show itself.
The ones to blame for the death of Juliet and her Romeo The tragic deaths of the two star-crossed lovers was brought forth by others than just themselves. Romeo and Juliet were madly in love even for the short time they were alive and in the presence of one another. Their fate was a tragic one ,but this tragedy was caused by more than the two lovers.
