The Red Scare, and 9-11 had a lot of tragic events. The Red Scare occurred because of the fear of communism in the Unites States during 1919-20. America was afraid that of plotting in a revolution. On 9-11 The terrorist did not have the ability to destroy the united states military so they set their targets on symbolic targets instead , destroying both the twin towers, killing and injuring thousands of people. During the Red Scare on September 1920, on Wall Street a bomb exploding and killing 38 people, another bomb destroyed A Mitchell Palmers, and Attorney General home.
The year 1919 or to say the early period during the 20th century is also known as the First Red Scare in the history of the United States of America. There was a widespread fear of Bolshevism and anarchism all over the United States, which was influenced by the Russian Revolution as well as the Worldwide Communist Revolution. Labor strikes, walkouts, social disorder, race riots, murders and much more violence had created chaos and paranoia throughout the nation. The threat of communist revolution in the United States following the World War I implied radical actions of American organized labor along with Bolshevism created tough challenges for maintaining social order as well as led to interracial violence among the whites and blacks. There were many events that led up to 9/11. In the book The Looming Tower Al - Qaeda and the Road to 9/11 by Lawrence Wright the reader gets to see what led up to 9/11. The Wrecks of 9/11 Why did Al-Qaeda fly planes into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and in an open place in Pennsylvania? What happened was Al-Qaeda hijacked four planes and crashed them all into three different places, which were the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a place in Pennsylvania. On 911 2,753 people were killed in New York. In the Pentagon 184 people died from the plane crashing into it. (¨911 Attacks/911 Fact and Question¨).
During the Red Scare in the 20th century, there was mass hysteria. It was an era full of accusations and panic, much like "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller. The Red Scare was essentially a bombardment of accusations. McCarthyism was abundant and people were accusing eachother of being communists, or "commies" in fear that was motivated by the war. Similiarly, during the Salem Witch Trials in "The Crucible", the townspeople began to accuse eachother of witchcraft.
It was called the “Red Scare” it was a time of hysteria that a threat was by the Communists in the U.S. Joseph R. McCarthy was the senator of the U.S. at that time and caused a lot of hysteria. Many people were saying that they were anti communists, and if you were had different opinions on that kind of matter then you were seen as a radical. In this time there was a case where Julien and Ethel Rosenberg was accused of being a spy for the Soviet Union. With all this hysteria already going on people started to point fingers at them. Even though there was no evidence of Ethel involvement in being a spy.
They were scared they were going to lose it all and specific politicians who were considered demigods. This Red Scare was much more bigger than the first one was originally. In the 1920’s, you had the Red Scare include the Bolshevik revolutions that were taking place all across the United States throughout the different lines of work. This caused the raids of people who were assumed to be a part of the radicals.

At the time J. Edgar Hoover was in command of the F.B.I., due to this he obtained extensive files one suspected subversives through the use of wiretaps, surveillance and the infiltration of leftist groups. There were many communistic events that were internationally happening around the world at the time. Consequently, this heightened the fear for the public. Above all, the public felt the Red Scare on a personal level. Many alleged communist sympathizers saw their lives disrupted.
Even though these great tragedies were in different time periods, they also have a lot in common. The first similarity between the red scare and 9/11 is that they were planned ahead of time. The anarchists send treats to governmental
After we talked I decided to research what happened during 9-11 and why along with other incidents that happened in the 1900’s. September 11th, 2001. It is a date that will always be remembered as the date of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, New York. The vicious attacks claimed the lives of almost 3,000 people, including 227 civilians aboard an airplane that crashed in the virginia countryside. While these attacks will be in our hearts forever, the effects are felt in other ways as well. I do believe that there was a conspiracy involving 9/11.
The events that occurred on September, 11, 2001 were among the most catastrophic events in American history. The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. The attacks resulted in the deaths of over 3000 people and the beginning of a soon to come American counter terrorism policy and the subsequent invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Although there are a lot of conspiracy theories around the real motives and players behind the attack,
Imagine running through the streets observing people weep and yell, the twin towers perish before them. Every ten seconds another horn beeps loudly to get the attention of those that are in a trance. Now, envision children alone or with family because their dad was a firefighter hastily rushing into the East tower to save those that were in the building. This event took place in New York on the date of 9/11/01, furthermore Muslim terrorists are responsible for this horrific event. From terror to hope justifies the events of 9/11 and the innocent Muslims that have to take the blame.
