The American revolution all started because of taxes. The colonist got really mad at the British for taxing all of their important goods. The british always treated the colonist poorly since they came and invaded their homes. By this time the british were sick and tired of the colonists so they started a war.
The causes of the revolutionary war was the writs of assistance that was allowed by the governor of Massachusetts, these writs allowed British soldiers check the homes of colonists to help enforce the navigation acts of 1651. Then, the stamp act of march,1765 that taxed all kinds of paper based materials. this was the first act to be boycotted by all the colonists. The Townshend Act of 1767
During the 1760s the British Parliament decided to pass many laws and taxes on the American Colonists. They did this because they were in debt from the French and Indian War. The colonists did not like these laws and created conflict with Great Britain. This conflict is what started the American Revolution. The American Colonists protested against the laws they thought were unfair.
Economics sparked the American Revolution because of all the taxes. The King of Great Britain believed in paying back war debts. The taxes put a big grip on the colonies. The tax that put the most tension was the tax on tea. The people thought that they were all ruled by England so they didn 't have to follow the tax.
The cause which most likely sparked and was largely responsible for the start of the American Revolution was the Quartering Act. It was a series of laws passed that were meant to punish the British tea party. One reason this act angered them the most was that it forced every colonist to be willing to give up their homes to the British soldiers. By law, you had to provide room and board for the said soldiers- no matter where it was. Another reason that the colonist would be most angered by this series of laws is that it created divinity and privilege between the soldiers and the colonists, as they were being forced to provide for them.
The American Revolution was caused by the change of British policies and colonists seeking representation. England started to tax new settled colonists on every item possible. Colonists tried their best to work something out with England to get independence they wanted. With not much luck, the Revolutionary War emerged to fight for independence from 1763-1783. The war between Great Britain and colonists ended up being successful with the independence that was declared which resulted in the United States of America.
The American Revolution was the first war in America 's history. It was caused by many events such as the French and Indian War, the Intolerable Acts, and the king’s oppressive rules. However, the main factors that caused this war were, taxation, not being allowed to have representation in Parliament and being denied their rights. The first reason that the colonists and England went to war, was the fact that England was passing taxes without the colonists having a voice.
The American Revolution started over the disagreement between Great Britain and the colonies. Great Britain always tried to control everyone and everything and the people of the colonies felt differently. The Revolution began in 1775 and ended in 1783 by the Treaty of Paris. There were numerous major events that had happened overtime which lead to this war. Some of which include French and Indian war, Proclamation of 1763, Sugar Act, Currency Act, Quartering Act, Stamp Act, Townshend Acts, Tea Act, Boston Tea Party, Intolerable Acts, and Bunker Hill.
The American Revolution was the result of a major build up of disagreements between the British Empire and the Colonists who inhabited the New World. The American Revolution was brought to fruition after multiple acts proposed by the British Empire on the Colonies in the New World. There were many acts that lead up to the colonists wanting to become independent, the two most influential were known as the Stamp Act and the Intolerable Acts. The Stamp Act was the first direct tax on the colonies to reprimand the cost of the French and Indian War.
The American Revolution was a result of the build up tensions between the British and the colonists. It took time and numerous events to contribute to the strained relationship that of the mother country and her colony. Over time the distance between England and the colonies drifted further and further. King George III and Parliament created duties and acts without the colonists representation and that produced anger in the colonists. As a result, the colonists responded with acts of rebellion and resentment towards the British Empire.
America grew tired of imposed taxation without consent which was an Englishman’s right; however Great Britain passed several taxation acts over a period. America governed themselves until these acts became law. The reason for the Revolutionary War was the passing of taxes in Parliament without representation for the Colonist, and the organization of the Sons of Liberty lead by Sam Adams which boycotted and rebelled against the Tea Act. The American Revolutionary War began on April 19, 1775.
They put taxes on things such as paper, sugar, and even tea, which angered the colonist because they were not will to pay tax without representation in the government. These events ultimately caused the colonist to revolt against the British monarchy and declare its independence. A revolution is a radical change in society and its social structure. The American Revolution was revolutionary because it transformed America politically and socially; however, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness weren’t necessarily improved for the all people in this revolution.
By 1763, there was an adamant and successful empire in Britain known as British Empire. This empire saw the emergency of the America Revolution because of an argument that rose between American colonists and the British settlers which concerned the constitution. Following the war that lasted for at least seven years, a massive debt was left upon the Great British, and this became the principal source of the disagreements that arose between the British and the Americans leading to major revolts that lasted for a decade (Bonwick, 1991). England was involved in the war since it gave assistance to the American army and therefore the government of England was left with a massive debt, and because of such act, the policy makers of the British Parliament decided to enact laws so as to tax Americans so that their debts may be met. Several laws were passed and implemented which sparked the revolution in American.
