She wanted to change that immediately but the manager of the plantation said she had more important things to do. At her residence she met Phillis and Minerva, her personal slaves. Minerva was just about the age of Nancy and Phillis was Minerva's mum. They got on well. One day Nancy found out her dad had promised her to another plantation owner named Mr Duke – later known as the Brazilian. It was quite a surprise to her, so as she was scared she decided to run away and soon Nancy, Minerva, Phillis and Thomas were headed to a remote village in the middle of nowhere. They arrived and villagers welcomed them, not open handed but they gave them everything the needed for living. Duke couldn't find them. As they were sailing over Atlantic sea they spotted a merchant ship that later turned out to be a pirate ship. There was a huge fight between the ships and finally Nancy and her friends won the battle. They took over the other ship and continued their way to the coast of Guinea. There they found a lot of gold and other valuable stuff which they stole therefore they became wealthy so the decided to go to Madagascar to finish their traveling. They settled down but after some time the Brazilian was spotted near the island of Madagascar. Nancy got really scared. Her friends – Pirates helped her out and killed the Brazilian. She went back to England, Minerva married with Vincent Crosby (another pirate) and the rest of the crew retired and lived happily on
