Mothers should be aware of the consequences on childrens’ behavioral difficulties if they are exposed to cell phone radiations. The writer warns about difficulties with emotions when children reach school age (Lean, 2008). Cell phone manufacturers are not left out because they make mobile phones that emit radiation leading to children’s behavioral problems. Additionally, research alerts that hyperactivity increases if children use cell phones before age seven (Lean, 2008). Parent who allow their children to use cellphone are taking a risk. The writer warns that radiation exposure a few times a day from cell phone use creates emotion difficulties for school aged children (Lean, 2008). Therefore, increased radiation exposure in children also increases behavioral problems. Cell phone exposure emits radiation to youngsters who have no idea of the adverse effects or damages it can cause. Mothers are responsible to limit their childrens’ cell phone use. Think of how you would feel if you are not able to relate well with friends and colleagues, due to increased emotional distress beyond your control. Children with behavior have a hard time in school. In addition, Lean stresses the trauma imposed on childrens’ character by cell phone radiation exposure (Lean, 2008). It is a problem now that mothers are not aware that the havoc caused by radiation exposure is not lower than the risk to children’s health from other legal or illicit drug use while pregnant. Mothers should take the challenge to protect their fetuses and children from cell phone radiation exposure.
