"The fight is never about grapes and lettuce.It is always about people "- Cesar Chavez. Cesar Chavez and Nelson Mandela were both also very great people they helped make the world better and they fought for human right but they also had many differences. Even though the stories were talking about the same idea they were told in a different way. Long Walk To Freedom was more persuasive than About Cesar because it was told in the way that it was as if Nelson Mandela was telling the story. Nelson Mandela's story was better than Cesar Chavez's story.

Nelson Mandela and Cesar Chavez were alike in many ways but were also different in many ways. One way they were alike is that they both fought for human rights. Nelson Mandela once said, "There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires." They are also alike because they were both great leaders and always stood by their people. They always stuck to their promises. One way they were different is the way that they were written. Long Walk To Freedom was written in a way were it was like Nelson Mandela was speaking. But About Cesar was written in a way like a different person was talking. Cesar's story was talking about his accomplishments. ''A true American hero, Cesar was a civil rights, Latino and farm labor leader". But Mandela's story was talking about how white people dominated the blacks in South Africa. "The white - skinned peoples of South Africa patched up their differences and erected a system of racial domination against dark-skinned peoples of their own land". But in the end it talks about how they overcame their differences. Those are the differences and similarities about the two
