Fashion is a form of art and the pursuit of beauty. It lets people freely find their beauty. Nowadays, not only the young people and the rich can be fashionable, but also the elderly and the ordinary family. It can be anytime, everywhere for all ages. Furthermore, fashion has its features of times which need people to catch it. The design is an integral part of fashion. Gabrielle Chanel was a French fashion designer who was born in 1883 in Saumur. She is regarded as one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Also, Chanel was a pioneer in the area of fashion. Behind all their success and fortune, is full of sweat and anguish. Although she was abandoned by her father, she was accepted by the orphanage, there she learned to sew. It is important for Chanel to be a designer. If she did not get the charity cases, she will not be able to study. There is no way to change the fate of the poor and women. She changed many jobs such as seamstress and cabaret singer. Afterward, a rich playboy who called Balsan moved Chanel to Paris. He played an important role of Chanel’s life. If they never meet each other, Chanel could not open her first boutique and enters the respectable society. The little black dress is considered as one of Chanel’s masterpiece. People only know it is amazing, but they never know that she was weakened by the pain of lover’s death. Black is not only an elegant, solemn color but also liberated human’s vision.
