As with most businesses, advancements must occur in order for it to become a successful company and dairy farming is no different; one of these game changing advancements within the dairy industry was the introduction of milking machines. It provided a faster and less labor intensive way to “harvest” the milk, ultimately allowing for more cows to be on a farm and the efficiency to increase significantly.
