Changing your name helps seek your identity for many reasons. Some may be relevant to religious beliefs. Some may refer to marriage or divorce. For example, in the story, "Everyday Use" by Alice Walker, Dee changed her name to Wangero due to the people who have oppressed her. There are reasons that involves about your career. One of the reasons is that the stage name, or a particular nickname for your job. For example, in an acting job, a stage name is common in order to be successful at work. You can swap your name not only an acting job, but for numerous jobs also. Changing your name can be in a positive way. For example, if you had a partner who did awful things and you once shared your name with him or her, now is the right time to transform your name. …show more content…

Another positive way is changing your name to fit in with each of religious beliefs, whether it relates to a culture, a country, or a religion. You can customize your name to fit your identity better to adjust your beliefs a bigger influence. For example, you can shift your name to honor an ancestor, a grandmother or grandfather or other relatives, or something from your heritage. Unfortunately, there are negative reasons for changing your name. For certain reasons, the frequent common reason is about the spelling. People have long names that are difficult to understand. For example, in my family, we have relatives who usually have long names that remain tough to pronounce, or spell. So in order to modify your name (if your name is a long name), you can have the right to shorten your name to a simple name. I believe that having your name changed is brilliant, although you wouldn't need to change it if you like your name. There is no restriction to it.
