Throughout Chaplin’s movie, he has convinced the viewer to agree about the problem with Hitler, Mussolini, and fascism. Chaplin has introduced Hynkel, or Hitler, as the leader of Germany who doesn’t know what he’s doing. Throughout the movie, he uses humor and makes fun of Hynkel as much as possible. Hykel in hi first speech, was talking about Germany has a great army and the aryan race. He also explained fascism which is country above individual. The mode of this persuasion is pathos as it is more emotional to others. Towards the end of the movie, Chaplin made an argument that humans have the power to do what is right and what is wrong.
