-Summary for Ch. 11-15 (AT LEAST FOUR SENTENCES):
In chapters 11-15 of To Kill a Mockingbird, Jem has to read to Mrs Dubose, Jem and scout go to church with Calpurnia, Aunt Alexandra shows up for holiday, and Dill was found in Scout's room. In chapter 11, Mrs Dubose had aggravated Jem, so he tore up her yard. To repay this, Jem had to read to Mrs. Dubose for 1 month. In chapter 12, Calpurnia took the kids with her to church. The people were welcoming them, except for 1 lady. In chapter 13, Aunt Alexandra had shown up at Atticus’s house to stay with them for a while. Atticus told Scout it was for her own good. In chapter 14 and 15, Scout found Dill under her bed. Dill said he ran away from home, then he got to stay at Atticus’s house with Jem …show more content…

The defendant is Tom Robinson. A black man accused of raping a white girl. The accuser is Mr. Bob Ewell. Mr. Ewell claims that he saw Tom Robinson raping his little 19 year old girl, Mayella Ewell. Tom Robinson says he never touched her and he just ran away from the property as fast as he could.

In chapters 20-25 of To Kill a Mockingbird, court is ending its session. Tom Robinson was pronounced guilty after an hour of discussion between the jury. He was sent to jail. Jean Louise went home and Aunt Alexandra made her join a ladies meeting. Through the meeting, Atticus showed up with news from the Jail. He took Calpurnia with him to tell Helen Robinson that Tom was killed trying to escape.

-Summary for Ch. 26-31 (AT LEAST FOUR SENTENCES): In chapters 26-31 of To Kill a Mockingbird, Scout's school had a pageant coming up. Scout missed her turn in the pageant because she fell asleep backstage. After the pageant was over, Scout was too shy to take off her pork costume. While Jem and Scout were walking home, they heard someone walking behind them. Not long after, Scout’s costume was being crushed and they were running for their lives.
