AN OVERVIEW The Vice President-Organization oversees chapter organization by implementing the Chapter Strategic Plan and coordinating committees. The VPO oversees officer and chapter leadership development as well as officer trainings and transitions. The VPO makes arrangements for all Fraternity visitors. ROLES: Work with Chapter Council to submit the Calendar Report in KeyReports and create and regularly update the monthly calendar. Make adjustments as needed, freeze the monthly calendar two weeks prior to the new month, and distribute to the chapter, advisers, Leadership Development Specialist, and District Director. • Administer at the time of officer elections. The Chapter Survey can be found by logging into www.kappa.org/members and navigating to More Resources > Chapter VP – Organization. GINsystem questions/polls function, Survey Monkey, and Google Forms are helpful tools to collect survey information. • Use the Chapter Survey Results Report to tally, analyze, and record the results to evaluate the needs and health of the chapter. Present this information to Chapter Council after officer installations. • Divide the chapter into groups to talk about the results. Then, discuss each group’s thoughts. • Provide a copy of the Chapter Survey Report Form to the Leadership Development Specialist, District Director, members of Chapter Council, and the VPO adviser. Keep one copy for the VPO’s files. Submit the Calendar Report in KeyReports and compile the monthly calendar. • Complete and submit the Calendar Report on KeyReports. If dates change, update the Calendar Report on KeyReports as soon as possible. • Submit the Calendar Report in KeyReports by April 1 for the upcoming school year.
