Frank Bruni dives into the topic at hand by clarifying a prerequisite of what teens need in order to be healthy. The topic to which Bruni is responding is how many children are not getting the adequate amount of sleep a night. He speaks of how children are overworked and unprepared. Therefore, the lesson learned would be the young do need sleep; unfortunately, it can be quite impossible when there have been so many responsibilities placed upon our youth. Likewise, teenagers and children are constantly pressured to be the best and to take the extra step forward in the competitiveness of the world. There has to be some kind of baseline when it starts to falter the physical well being of many young intelligent minds.
