Is Scrooge a role model?
Over 150 years ago, Charles Dickens wrote a play about a grumpy and crabby old man named Scrooge. He needed to find a soft heart. Over the night, his dead business partner Jacob Marley, sends three spirits and changed him dramatically. These spirits showed past presents and futures of him and his family/friends. In the morning (Christmas Morning), he is very warm spirited and gives back for all of the bad things he did in his life. He gave poor people money, gave Cratchit (his employee) a raise, and bought a turkey for him as well. Scrooge was then a very compassionate man. But today, over 150 years later, has society really learned anything from Scrooge?

Within one night, he became the most spirited man in town. Even if you have a bad reputation and have no friends, you can still be kind and people’s image of you can still change. This movie is very inspiring because it shows all the good things that Scrooge did after being a grouch. If Scrooge can become a good person, then who can’t? It can bring hope into people’s minds that they can also become a good and gentle person.
When Scrooge says that he will live in the past present and future he means that all three of his trips will influence him in a positive way. To live in the past means to always be thinking about your mistakes and not spending as much time thinking about your present life. Scrooge shows us at the end of the film how to live in the past present and future because he makes friends with more people after he sees his lonely grave at with the ghost of christmas future.
We may not all like Scrooge, but there are people like him. They are called millennials. Millennials are a generation of people that grew up around the start of the millennium. In 2015, studies showed that millennials donated on average $481 to charity. Society hasn't completely been affected by Scrooge, but there are a few people like him that could possibly spark human
