As they tend to say “Curiosity kills the cat. ” In this book “The Red Badge of Courage” the young boy Henry tends to flee from his second battle. That is quite strange because we would think someone would run from their first battle because they should be scared of what is going to happen. The reason why henry didn’t flee the first battle was because first off, henry probably thought that since he could conquer the first battle that the second got too intense for him.
Though many are inspired by Chris’s bravery to go out to live off Alaska’s land, There are many others who believe he is foolish due to the way he executed his expedition. The way Chris decided to carry out his journey cost him his life. In the novel THE BRAVE there is a character named Sonny. He is one of those characters that gets picked on because of his ethnicity, which is Indian and white. He also has a bestfriend that supports him and his name is Jake. Sonny is a boxer and is decent at it, but he is not one of the greats that everyone in his town knows. Two things that stand out throughout the story is his courage and his friends beliefs in him while he goes on and matures and improves in boxing.
The book “Red Badge of Courage” written by Steven Crane was about young men in the army who went to war. One of the main characters was named Henry. Henry was a young man who had never been to war and had ideas of what he thought the war would be like. College is a place where people come to study the profession that they want to have a career in, and investigate their future to come. At first it may not be easy, but in the end it’s all worth it! Although college may be challenging, people still attend it because they will be more educated, have a degree, and may be successful.
