Characters: Gilgamesh – Arnold Schwarzenegger “One Third Human Two Third God-Half American Half Austrian” Gilgamesh who is the king of the Uruk city is known with his strength and wisdom. He is a fearless warrior and also the builder of the walls of Uruk. However, as we all know even these gigantic walls couldn’t prevent Gilgamesh from harming his people. He is the reason of the suffering people. I think this cruel and behavior associates with “Evil”. “By day and by night his tyranny grows harsher” (p. 3, I 69). We can understand that Gilgamesh takes pleasure from harming people and this act surely correlates with Evil’s behavior. However, I liken Gilgamesh to my own bodybuilding idol “Arnold Schwarzenegger” related with their physical strength. Arnold who is the winner of several awards in bodybuilding contests was also the main character in “Hercules” (powerful mythology character). So I want to choose Arnold to play Gilgamesh role in this movie. On the other hand, we can only find a physically similar character not a mentally similar character. “(Who) knew…, was wise in all matters!” (p.1, I 3-4).
