Montag needs Faber’s knowledge and experience to bring down the fireman. Together they are able to rebel that keeps them alive. Montag faces some dangers. The most danger he was in is the mechanical hound, who has Montag's scent, and is on his trail.
Montag flees his capture and stops at Faber’s during his escape. At Faber’s, he learns that he is being tracked by a mechanical hound with the whole world to watch at their television screens. Before departing Faber’s house, they both agree to meet in St. Louis where they will work with a printer to print more books. The novel comes to a resolution when Montag successfully avoids capture by traveling down the river toward the railroad tracks. At the railroad tracks, Montag meets a group of scholars that have the same hopes of lifting the censorship of literacy.

Montage's escape from Beatty was something unexpected. Montag was discovered for loving books when his wife called him in along with the other wives, and Beatty made Montag burn his own house to the ground, along with his books. After that Beatty discovered the earpiece that faber had given him, and Beatty said he was going to track it and catch him and put him in jail with Montag. Montag freaked out and started threatening Beatty with it, and Beatty said to put it down, but instead Montag burned Beatty alive with it. Soon after that the dog came after Montag and he killed it.

Then Montag went and did the worst thing possible, he read a poem to Mildred’s friends, Mrs. Phelps and Mrs. Bowles. After he read the poem, he fled the house and went to turn in a book to Beatty. What he didn’t know is that the ladies have turn in an alarm and Mildred did too. The firemen, Montag, and Beatty made their way to Montag’s house. Beatty reveals that he knew all along that Montag was lying and made Montag burn down his own house.
After the alarm was called in on Montag’s house, Montag didn’t know how to react. He was upset that Mildred, his wife, betrayed him and didn’t talk to him. Captain Beatty saw the radio in Montag’s ear and then fall

Montag feels threatened and angry with Beatty. Montag loses it and switches the safety snap on the flamethrower and kills Beatty. Montag is justified in killing Captain Beatty.
Firstly, Montag stole a book to try and discover what he is missing not reading them. Clarisse at random asked Montag if he was happy, and it had never came across to Montag if he was happy. Montag has to burn his own house down. Beatty made him burn down his house due to having books in the house. If Beatty were to not burn down his house and that the police would be watching him. Once he burns his house, he then burns Beatty in order to escape. He then goes to find Faber in order to get help.
