Imagine, your own brother has blinded you on purpose and you now have to live with what he has curse with. Wouldn't it affect you?Other characters can and will play a part in the main character and even your life.In the novel, tangerine,Edward Bloor uses the concept of character choice and consequences to develop the main character, Paul Fisher. In part one, Paul was insecure due to the choices his kin have made.One example is on page 24.His mom told a educator at paul's school that “He’s legally blind” This affects paul because he can no longer play soccer. Another example is on page 38 when Mrs. Murrow decided to joke and told paul that “Kerri will act as your eyes.”Paul was offended about the joke made about his poor eyesight. One last example for part one is when Coach Walski instructed paul that he “Can't play soccer for Lake Windsor.”This comment can make paul feel worthless and not welcomed. …show more content…
