Hunting is a passion world wide. The story “The Dangerous Game”by Richard Connell, shows what kind of skill it takes to track something while hunting. Zaroff demonstrates that he is a very talented,adventurous,and rich. First Zaroff is a talented individual. He tracked Rainsford all the way to the tree. “The general's eyes traveled inch by inch up the tree(page 231).” So he is a very talented tracker as well as a very talented hunter. Another reason is that he hunts humans because animals are not a good enough challenge. Secondly Zaroff is a very adventurous person. He read all of Rainsfords books and knew his ways of hunting.
