Everyone has a person who they admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, there were many characters with those outstanding behaviour and they did not go unnoticed. Scout and Jem saw these qualities in their childhood hero, Atticus Finch, who was also their father. Atticus was the perfect example of a wonderful father, a strong attorney, and a man ahead of his time, he was a heroic figure.
