Michael Gugliotta 12/8/14 English 2 Honors Mrs. Salvatorelli Character Sketch Bob was a towering, muscular, short man with jet-black hair who had lengthy arms and legs, and had a gigantic, bushy mustache. His arms and legs were toned, ripped with muscle all around, and his torso had a six- pack. He was able to bench 425 pounds with ease. Bob had a scar on his right hand from a burn. It made him look tough and even stronger than he already was. His hair was always greased back. He always had a smile on his face and you could never tell if he was miserable. He had pearly white teeth. When Bob spoke, he had a soft, yet persuasive voice that when you heard it, you would listen carefully and believe what he said whole heartily. Bob is 43 years old and retired from his job which was a firefighter. Bob’s job was to save others in the need of help. Before he retired, Bob worked from Monday to Friday every week. He was the fire captain of his unit and stayed on the job for 18 years. Bob went into scorching buildings and tried to save as many people as he could. He once carried two people at once out of a building. He was brave and strong-willed. He was the gentle giant who helped everyone and treated everyone with respect. From a young age Bob dreamed about becoming a firefighter and helping out in his community. His grandmother always told him stories about his father and grandfather while they were firefighters, so Bob wanted to continue the family tradition. Bob was a very intelligent. He had straight A’s on his report cards and finished continuously at the top of his class. He was the oldest sibling of three. Bob had a younger brother named Tim and a younger sister named Victoria.
