White Bears’ characteristic or Features
Northern bears have an acutely sharp sense of smell. With the assisting of keen sense from Ice bear’s nose, the Ice bears are able to hunt down the prey, such as ringed seal, that hidden under the snow around 2 feet easily. Arctic bears also have unique massive and wide paws when compare with body size which led them move very well on the snow due to the distributing weights on the paws over the snow surface.
The papillae, known as dermal bumps, assist white bears to grip on the snow more, efficiently which is under the white bear’s feet. Moreover, partial webbed on its feet also help them to swim smoothly.
