Charles Manson once said "I can't dislike you, but I will say this to you: you haven't got long before you are all going to kill yourselves because you are all crazy. And you can project it back at me, but I am only what lives inside each and every one of you." Charles Manson was an American cult leader whose followers carried out several notorious murders in the late 1960s, resulting in his lifelong imprisonment. He made many people in his family (cult) believe that he was Jesus Christ himself. Because of all that, he brainwashed multiple people into killing actress Sharon Tate, wife of film director Roman Polanski, along with her three guests who were visiting the home at the time.

He was able to manipulate and control people because he said he was a messiah with a powerful message and vision that could transform their lives and the world. He made sure that his followers saw him as an all-powerful figure. Manson convinced his followers to commit murders to start a race war. Manson became the central part of his followers' lives, the reason for their lives, and provided a "family" that fulfilled their basic needs. Manson made us question everything.
"Charles Manson" is an absolute monster of a man. The "Messiah," as some say. After all of this, Manson went to prison and was charged with the murder of Sharon Tate, along with her husband and guests. He later died in 2017 from colon cancer at the age of 83. Unfortunately, one of the Manson family members, Leslie Van Houten, was granted parole by California's parole board, which recommended her release in 2016.
