Free Enterprise has really been able to help entrepreneurs to get what they need to Excel.Charles Patterson was the First African American man to own and create a Automobile company called "The C.R. Patterson & Sons Company" which succeed very much so because of the free enterprise system in America.As we have known that because of the slavery and the segregation of the time African Americans were not able to be successful in the Free enterprise because of the color of his skin.He had escape slavery to Ohio and became a Free man,the free enterprise was able to Give Charles Patterson ways to have a positive business with the odds being very slim. Free Enterprise allows for a company to be able to engage in competition with other .Charles Patterson being a man of color had certain limitations to his success but as he created the cars,he was able to push out more than 150 models.His business was able to compete with the great known Henry Ford Model T car and others of that kind.At,that time anybody of color could not be a high level.The government not cutting the right to trade from African Americans to compete helped …show more content…

Patterson & Sons Company the government had no type of restriction on how much he could create and what he was able to provide.I can say that if your able to have no restrictions on how much you provide it was able to show that you are to have the supply and demand of the customers.For example,he company built 28 types of horse-drawn vehicles and Estimates of Patterson-Greenfield car production vary, but it is almost certain that no more than 150 vehicles were built,also they soon switched to production of truck, bus, and Its school bus bodies in particular became popular as Midwestern school districts began to convert from horse-drawn to internal-combustion-fired transportation by 1920.
