They fallow the same requirements and have the same curriculum. I did notice that Collins elementary have a few assests that are unique to this school.

This committee was necessary as our schools have gone through rapid growth in a world that is constantly changing. I was asked to join as a student member of this committee, and jumped on board without hesitation, remembering all the good that the schools had done for me. As a student member of this committee, I worked with teachers and administration across the school district, parents of kids in the district, and community leaders in both Sartell and St. Stephen to come up with a common vision for the future of our schools and a blueprint to lead us there. As we met through the rest of that school year, we came up with the common goal of meeting the mission statement of the Sartell Schools, which is to “Inspire the entire community to develop well-rounded citizens capable of becoming successful and contributing members of society by providing outstanding instruction in a caring and

This week the Boys and Girls club of Austin has taken on a very important and large fundraising opportunity. The are running their event through an organization called Amplify Austin. The Boys and Girls club of Austin has set the mission statement as, "Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens"(Amplify Austin.) They are looking to raise $450,000 for the general Austin area, and through the Amplify Austin platform are able to reach out to people who are interested in running their own fundraising events. I think what they are doing is smart in that they are not leaving the responsibility of raising money solely on themselves.

I personally believe that UNC Wilmington will allow me to grow academically as a student as well as an adult. Being from a small town in Maine I have always been the type of person to try new things and live to the fullest. When I decided to go to college, my mind was set on staying close to home my first year and getting the feel of what it is like. I strongly feel I am a very independent person and enjoy the challenges of doing things on my own. I have changed my mind many times on a career path I wish to pursue I don’t find it easy for someone my age to know exactly what they want to do for the rest of their life.
When I was 6 I wanted to be an astronaut. I dreamed of swimming amongst an ocean of stars, and being able to explore and uncover the secrets that space held. These hopes dwindled as I grew and learned more; however, in reality, it's only made me want to try harder. In fact, my childhood fantasies just motivated me to search for what I actually want in my life. Recently, more and more signs of success have been appearing, and I’ve realized that to reach the stars I need to find better, more substantial ways to learn.

Duke University’s mission statement is what initially caught my eye. Duke presents itself to be very invested in their students’ success. In my search for a college that will help me grow as an individual, that attribute is very attractive to me. Within the various clubs offered, I would love to join ASPIRE or Duke PAWS. Through these clubs, I would have the ability to help and positively impact the community, which is something I have greatly enjoyed doing throughout my high school career.
