Being a cheerleader you are a member of a group or squad that do organized cheering and chants in support of a sports team. I cheered from the time I was in the 5k until the end of my ninth grade year. Cheering was a big part of my life then I realized that it was not good for me to continue with the group. With cheer leading being a big part of my life there were reasons why it was very important to me, but why did I quit, and did I make the right choice?
Being a little kid and always looking up at the older cheerleaders I wanted to be just like them. I wanted to wear my cheer uniform and wanted to go on to the football field and everyone looks at me. I achieve my dream from being a little girl and wanted to be a cheerleader to becoming one.

Cheering my ninth grade year took up most of my week. Every week starting on Monday and going till Wednesday you get ready to learn a dance and get prepared for a pep-rally on Thursday. Learning the dance is the hardest part, trying to learning every step is not the easiest. If you do not know one step you will mess the whole dance not just for you but for everyone around you. When Thursday come around you need to know everything. That morning you get to school and decorated the gym to make it look up to the theme for that week. The best part about those days are the pep-rallies. It allows the students to get involved and get the football players pump for the game that night. By the time the game starts I am tired from the week of learning and preparing for that morning. Even though that was not funny the worst part is the drama that comes with cheering. Cheer has the worst type of drama. It is not just the kids that talk bad about each other it is also the parents. The cheer moms might be more worst than the girls. Some moms will talk just as bad about a kid then the kids would talk about each other. I do miss cheering but I do think I made the right choice to
