Cheering is when you learn and execute a few cheers as well as perhaps a quick dance, some fundamental leaps, stunting, or tumbling. In cheer, one group would work on dances and cheers while the other might focus on jumps, stunts, and tumbling. To put on a superb show, you will have to continue despite errors and incredibly uncomfortable situations. A cheerleader should possess the following qualities: self-assurance, leadership, an excellent memory, and courage/versatility. What abilities and foundational elements are needed to become a good cheerleader is the real question. These requirements are undoubtedly met by cheering, perhaps even more so than by other sports-related activities. You won't be as good at cheering as you think you will be without everything I mentioned upfront because while cheering may seem simple, there are some challenging aspects to it. Even on terrible days, you must put in a lot of effort because some days may be difficult while others may appear simple. That is the fundamental goal of having a committed cheer coach, as well as energy, adaptability, facial features, mental ability, and good recall. Cheer requires flexibility, but I'm not talking about gymnastics; I mean being prepared to deal with changes and adjust to unexpected circumstances. Anything can happen; you could learn one routine and then the team loses half of its members to illness, forcing you to learn a whole new routine. We were supposed to attend a cheer competition for which we had been diligently rehearsing even after school, but other plans interrupted and prevented us from attending.
