The cheesecake factory is one of the top 100 fortune’s company, which is among the foremost casual-dining chains in the U.S. It is well known for its broad menu and its full-service restaurants all over the U.S. It has more than 200 items which involves 50 innovative items at 550 calories or less and also includes choices that are considered as “gluten-free”. This enables to compete for substantially all dining preferences and occasions. Based on the profits it gained, the company started to expand throughout the world but still the company has few flaws which started dipping its profits. These flaws involve lack of performance like inappropriate delivery time, poor service. In addition to that, people faced bad experience in the restaurants too. By seeing the reviews, we could conclude that the management at the restaurant is not good enough to reach customer expectations. For any organization, planning, organizing, leading and controlling plays and important role in retrieving profits. But this company is lagging behind by not implementing few P-O-LC framework activities. The main objective of this company is to provide low calorie and gluten-free food but it did not achieve its objective rather than the center of science in the public interest noted that the restaurant serves high calorie food.
