A cheetah is able to reach speed up to 75 miles per hour. Imagine you saw a product on advertisement and wanted it, do you ever wonder how they were able to make you buy the product by just looking at the ad? Advertising, is a form of marketing communication used to persuade a reader into buying their products. Most advertisements seek to create increased consumption of their products or services by using their brand name with certain qualities in the minds of consumers. As any advertisements, there is always one goal for the company, which is to convince the reader to buy the product. Companies find creative ways to manipulate people into buying things or force you to borrow a loan to be able to buy the things that is advertised. The claim is that the Nissan GT-R compared to Usain Bolt are the fastest man and vehicle in the world. The support is provided by the reader, who is trying to decide if they want to buy the fastest car, and the question asks, “What if you had no competition?” which shows that the car and Mr. Bolt is the best to have.- The ad tells readers that the Nissan GT-R is the fastest vehicle and unbeatable because the ad represent that the car is compared to Mr. Bolt who is also unbeatable. For example, the Nissan GT-R is clocked at 10.9 sec at quarter mile and 0-60 mph in 2.8 sec compared to a 2014 Porsche 911Carrera S Coupe 0-60 3.9 sec and quarter is 12.2 sec. Also, Mr. Bolt’s 100 m dash time is 9.58 sec which is the world record. The Nike advertisement is somewhat the same as the Nissan GT-R ad because it shows Olympic runner (Usain Bolt) and the fastest land animal, (cheetah) for their ads to show
