Apache Indians
Who are the Apache Indians? The Apache Indian are a tribe that was one of that last tribes Americans had to deal with in the 1800-1900s. There name is a Zuni word meaning “enemy”, but to that Spaniards, Comanches, and especially the United States Government were enemies to the Apache. During the years the Apache and United States haven 't been the best of friends.
The arrival of the first Apache Indians in the United States was January 1,1541, discovered by Francisco Vasquez de Coronado, when they were living in the southwestern United States but also close by in northeastern side of Mexico. The Apache tribe is originally from the Northwestern Canada and Eastern Alaska, but the Apache is normally nomadic people so they traveled more in parts of the U.S. and Mexico. However, Apache Indians aren 't always friendly with the United States government, thus impelling to violence when the Americans are kicking the Apache out of their territory.

gave them the right to practice their beliefs when the Apache were given the American Indian Religious Freedom Act during 1978. Also the white men also taken away the rights and given the rights back to the Apache Indians time over time, including; the Indian Civil Rights Act of 1966, the Indian Self-Determination and Educational Assistance Act of 1975, and also the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978. Another act was the Indian Claims Commission Act of 1946 when the Jicarilla Apache tribe, one of the several separated Apache tribes, was given $10 million for the loss of their territory.
