SUV’s are seen all over the road ranging anywhere from the crossovers to the family sized vehicle. The acronym means sport-utility vehicle. In 2008, 11.42% of people owned a type of SUV. When looking for the perfect family vehicle, one might consider the 2016 GMC Yukon Denali or the 2016 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. When consumers are looking for a new vehicle, majority of them look at the price. Both vehicles are in the 50,000 to 70,000 range when it comes to the cost. The price for the GMC Yukon begins at $68,325 for the standard model. This model would not come with any of the upgrades that a dealership would offer. The GMC Yukon comes with the option of two different motors. The first motor avaliable is the 5.3 liter V-8 motor. This motor has an active fuel management which means that the motor can “turn off” half of its cylinders under light-load conditions. This will help when improving fuel economy. The second motor available will be the 6.2 L V-8 motor. Meanwhile, the Chevy Tahoe has a 5.3 Ecotech3 V8 motor.
