Suddenly, the door opens and a stranger comes in, telling you that you've been sold into sex slavery. This is the reality for millions of children around the world who are victims of child sex trafficking. Child sex trafficking is a heinous crime that has plagued society for centuries. While these measures are important, they only address the symptoms of the problem, rather than the root causes. The state needs to continue to focus on prevention, education, and prosecution to effectively address this problem and protect its most vulnerable citizens.
