Child Soldiers Initiative (CSI) is an organization that aims to make child-rights mandatory for police, armed forces and prison officials. The organization helps ex-child soldiers remember their legal rights. The association reminds the children that they are not the only one. Thousands have been taken and murdered by the hands of rebels. The healing process from the results of war requires a great deal of energy in some cases even a lifetime. CSI is a confronting center where child soldiers can figure out how to adapt to their past. This association will be very useful in terms of protecting and representing young boys such as Ishmael.

In the movie Blood Diamond when the men were attempting to cross the bridge the driver felt he could speak some sense into the young kid with the weapon and winds up getting shot or when the kids was seen carrying weapons bigger than themselves.
