If people lived in a country where they had to follow the rules of a ruthless ruler how would they feel? What would live be to live there? Well for the people of China they had to like under these rules. Some people who lived in China during the time of Mao Zedong. A lot of the people did not like this one child. A lot of the people who lived on the farms relied on their children to do most of the farm work for them. Also a lot of the factories that were in China needed all of the people to have a job there and manufacture all of China’s trade. So, if the population decreased because of this policy than China would not have as many goods to trade with other countries. Therefore, the one child policy was not good for the people of China because of the decrease in people to work in the factories, and a decrease in population. The population is slowly decreasing from the country mainly because of this policy. This sudden decrease is mainly affecting the farmers of China who mostly rely on their children to do the farm work. The population plummet really took a toll on the parent farmers and their children. The parents abused that one child and forced that child to do all of the farm work. (Document B).
