For instance, in Canada the Chinese immigrantion were not welcome by the British Columbia. The discrimination revealed in the documentary film “Chinese immigrants not welcome anymore” causes me to reflect on the earlier Chinese immigrants was living in misfortune through the following aspects: the racist actions of government and the disesteem in the video. In more detail, earlier Chinese immigrants was not accepted as a community when they were legal immigration in Vancouver. As the Jim Wong Chu who is an Asian-Canadian writer said in the video “because it was the community that was rejected and they have no where to go and literally if it was possible for the people those days they were like to precious route to see”(Eve, 1997). This caused me to feel depressed, because earlier Chinese immigrantion was disesteem by the community.
