Although we enjoyed Chipotle’s original mission statement, we thought it was too long and wanted to make it as concise as their vision statement. The revised mission statement we created states, “We are committed to sourcing the best ingredients, from vegetables in healthy soil to pork from free range pigs, to deliver the best tasting food. With every burrito we roll or bowl we fill, we're working to cultivate a better world.” With this new mission statement, Chipotle’s customers can understand that when they eat at Chipotle, they are getting the best and freshest ingredients, and that Chipotle is committed to being a sustainable company.

When you first walk into a Chipotle, a glass pane protects various amounts of different colorful ingredients. Chipotle’s goal is to “never stop working to improve each ingredient we prepare and serve.” This is why they show it off for their customers to see. The customer begins his or her meal by deciding between a burrito, taco, salad, or bowl. From there they choose a source of meat, such as steak, carnitas, chicken, barbacoa, and sofritas. They can also add rice, beans, lettuce, or fajita vegetables. Lastly, the meal can be topped with salsas, sour cream, guacamole, and/or cheese. Once the customer finishes making the main part of his or her meal, they can add a side of chips and salsa or a
