Redemption is a powerful tool used to better oneself. Weather that be in the eyes of the people, or just to ease ones mind. Chris Brown mostly wanted redemption in the eyes of his friends and fans, but also with himself. Once Brown was discovered, he went from singing in a church choir to the Bet Awards in a matter of a few years. That was all put on a hold when he was charged with domestic violence on a famous pop singer, Rihanna. After serving time in jail, he apologized to Rihanna on numerous occasions.
