When he was little, Chris was taught by his dad how to shoot a rifle. As Chris grew up he became a rodeo cowboy for a few years before deciding that he wanted to be a SEAL He got interested in being a SEAL was because of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombing; eventually he was accepted for special training, which included BUDS,Basic Underwater Demolition. He got denied at first, then went back a tried again.. In chapter 2, he meets his wife Taya Renae at a bar and got married kinda quickly. After they got married was sent to Iraq after 9/11 attacks.
