In his novel, “Into the wild “ by Jon Krakauer explains about a young man going outside of the society. I'm going to explain about McCandless attitude against civilization versus nature. I’m also going to be discussing his feelings about the government and law,Family, and friends. Chris McCandless wanted to see how it would feel to live outside the society.
To begin with, McCandless didn't want to be in the society. It looked like if he was against the society. As the reader can see, he is going to the mountains with himself and rifle. He believed that everyday should be an adventure and if it is not then you should make one. Everyday life for him wasn't an adventure so he decided to go and live on the road. This was an adventure for him and a way for him to experience all of nature's beauty. He liked the feeling of not knowing when he would have another meal or a place to sleep. It was up to McCandless then everybody would live this way. He believed that they would truly get the full experience of life and actually be able to enjoy life. When McCandless gave this advice to Ron, he followed it. This showed that McCandless's advice was crazy and that it was realistic. In his journey began to become more complicated for him because he wasn't able to find any animal near him. Since there wasn't food he started to starve and lose weight. He was desperate to find food, he discovered a vegetable that was called a wild potato. When he cooked it he ate them, the next day he woke up very weak. He picked up one of his books and he read the guide book that explain the definition of a wild potato. The wild potato contains a poison toxic that leads to death. Chris McCandless was very depressed he didn't know what to do in order to keep surviving. Sadly he was too weak to go home and passed away in the magic
