Their ministry was to imitate the ministry of Jesus (Ott, Strauss & Tennent, 2010). The disciples were expected to have learned, understand, live and practice that which Jesus taught them in-order to proclaim the message of hope, God’s love and compassion, and above all the message of the kingdom of God.
