The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime is talking about a fifteen-year-old boy, Christopher Boone, who has a psychological disorder called Asperger syndrome. This syndrome causes Christopher to deny some things in his life. For example, he will not eat anything yellow or brown because he doesn’t like those colors. He wont eat anything from the same plate, and he will decide on how his day is by counting the amount of yellow and red cars he sees on his way to school every morning. Christopher’s life is far from a normal life, he lives with his father in Swindon, without his mother. His mother and father got divorced. However, both of his parents lied to him. His father told him that his mother died in the hospital because of heart attack, this way Christopher can accept it. Christopher’s life was content and rather happy. But not until he sees Wellington (Mrs. Shears’ dog), stabbed with a garden fork through his chest on Mrs. Shears’ front garden. This causes Christopher’s curiosity to rise up; he then decided to investigate who murdered Wellington. As Christopher starts to dig on information, he begins to reveal other blank bits in his own life. I also thought that the book helps us to understand more about how people with Asperger syndrome portrait the world. In addition to that, the story itself has a very interesting plot and very different with other novel in the market. The book itself is very interesting; the author included some pictures that help us to furthermore understand the story of the book. My favorite part of the book is when Christopher starts to dig more information about the dead of Wellington. This part of the book made me want to read the book more and more since it is very
