Christopher Columbus Day is said to be celebrated for his discovery of America. Every year Columbus Day rolls around and it is always a question. Should we question Columbus Day? Should we not? For the most part people always say of course we should. But should we really? I think that maybe we had started celebrating Columbus Day for the wrong reasons. Columbus finding North America was not it, but possibly so that President Roosevelt would be able to use the Italian American vote, that he had wanted. President Roosevelt saw this as an opportunity and he took advantage of it, which was a smart move. I think that Christopher Columbus was a good and bad guy.
