Christopher Columbus Have you ever wondered about all the things that Christpher Columbus has done? Christopher Columbus has done a lot of things in his lifetime, but there are 3 things that are really important that he did. This includes the events that led Christopher Columbus to begin all of his expeditions, discovering all the new places, and lastly the legacy that he has left behind. From traveling all over to finding gold/riches, he had a tremendous life filled with all the goods and all the bads. The world has benefited because of Columbus’s expeditions. Columbus’s legacy was a huge part of what he did. According to Murphy” The legacy of Columbus’s leadership has been both celebrated and condemned. Nonetheless, historic enterprises such as his 1492 venture required breathtaking entrepreneurial leadership by the standard of any age”(Murphy). Columbus used his leadership skills to help him improve his voyages. Everything that Columbus did, like his leadership skills, played a part in the legacy that he left. Being a very good leader is not something that comes easily. There are not a lot of people who are good at it, but Columbus was. Individuals can look up to him to become an explorer because of the legacy he left. Keegan states. “Perhaps his greatest contribution was that his voyages opened an exchange of goods between Europe and the Americas both during and long after his journeys.”(Keegan William). Finding Goods on Expeditions and exchanging them with the stuff from natives and to bring them back to his own Country is excellent. Columbus’s legacy had a powerful impact on other explorers, this is because of the adventures he had gone on . This has led him to have a very powerful and good impact on not just explorers but everyone in the world
