There were many great explorers, but some were indescribable. Christopher Columbus was the first to reach the new land. Amerigo Vespucci was the second to reach the new land. Last but not least John Cabot got there. They all have done the impossible. All these explorers have Found the New World. Christopher Columbus kept a journal document of everything he did. In his journal he wrote five entries in 1492 on dates October 11-15. Christopher Columbus was a well known explorer. Christopher Columbus was writing to document all of the things he would see, so he could bring back information on the new world. For example in the journal entry on date October 11-15 all journal entries were detailed and stated everything they encountered or did throughout the day. Amerigo Vespucci wrote a letter to Pier Soderini informing him about his adventures and discoveries. Around 1497 Vespucci started his voyage. Amerigo Vespucci was the Author of this letter. Amerigo Vespucci, whose name was given to the American continents by Waldsmuller in 1507, worked in Seville in the business house which fitted out Columbus’ second expedition. Columbus wrote these letters on his expedition probably around 1494. Christopher Columbus was said to be the one who discovered the new world. Columbus wrote these documents to make sure the King and Queen knew all of the things he discovered. For example, That in the said island there shall be a treasurer, with a clerk to assist him, who shall receive all the gold belonging to your Highnesses, and the alcaldes and notaries of the towns shall each keep a record of what they deliver to the said treasurer.
