As each episode progresses, Chuck becomes more confident in his abilities to help the CIA and the FBI and starts to become the hero in the story. Without creating a spoiler for the show, certain characters enter into the storyline who either save or assist him through various struggles in his quest to rid himself of what he once considered a curse.
