The church’s mission statement is to make committed followers of Christ. Then, there are five ways they work to do this through worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service. The children’s ministry does not have a separate vision or mission and tries to incorporate the same mission as the rest of the church. Also, the church has a new three-year plan, Advance, that started this January to focus on a missional mindset including an inward, upward, and outward focus. As this is beginning the church staff has been discussing ways to incorporate the children in this too, so they are included with the rest of the church in this focus. Since the mission used is the same as the rest of the church, I think it is known to a lot of people.
