Cinderella's step family treats her very poorly so she runs away into forest and meets a charming prince who she then falls in love with. The prince assists she goes to a ball being held soon to see her again. Right when Cinderella gives up all hope to go to the ball her fairy godmother appears and makes her a beautiful dress, glass shoes, and a carriage out of a pumpkin with a spell that will make everything disappear at midnight. Ella goes to the ball and as soon as she knows it she is at the ball dancing with the prince. She was having so much fun she barely notices it is about to strike midnight and rushes out leaving only her glass slipper to track her.
The 2013 reboot of the Rogers and Hammerstein classic, Cinderella, has captured audiences with its beautiful costumes, classic score, and a revised book with a couple of twists. Their performance at the Tennessee Theatre went spectacularly well. Their amazing cast brought the timeless tale to life and left the audience in awe of the amazing spectacle. Cinderella begins by showing two characters, Cinderella, (Tatyana Lubov), the orphan who is enslaved to her cruel stepmother, and Prince Topher, (Hayden Stanes), who struggles to find a purpose for his life. While Topher has slain a thousand beasts and is the most desired man in the kingdom, he does not know who he is, and in hopes that he will discover this somehow, his royal advisor organizes
There are many stories or versions of Cinderella, but I will only be talking about 4 of over 900 versions there are. These four stories are similar but also have their differences, which is what I will be point out throughout this essay. I will be talking specifically about the stories called “Aschenputtel”, “ Yeh-Shen”, “The Algonquin Cinderella”, and one poem called “Interview”. They are very interesting stories and I encourage you to read them.
She longs for love and affection. She finds it when at the ball, but when she has to leave, she leaves in a hurry and one of the slippers that she is wearing gets left behind at the ball and the Prince finds and starts to look for her. Even though they were separated for short periods of time they still find each other in the end. The Prince takes her to his palace and they get married. This general plot stays the same for all versions of the story, but the differences between Disney’s Cinderella and Grimm’s Cinderella are striking, and they deserve through examination.

Cinderella did end up marrying the prince. And of course, she enjoyed it, with the lavish lifestyle and the gifts and attention from Prince Charming, but the simple fact was that Cinderella’s family had not been royal, and the royal life meant doing nothing much of the time. Therefore, months into her marriage to the prince, Cinderella had grown bored of even her new skills of horse riding and the upper-class style of sewing. She was used to cleaning, cooking, and mending filling her days, and on top of culture shock and boredom, she had to regularly endure the prince’s attentions towards many of the young handmaids and ‘pureblood’ royal-born noblewomen. So Cinderella filled her days with reading anything she could get her hands on, which is how she stumbled upon the heavy, royal history tomes.
As the time is winding down she is faced with her ordeal. As she runs to make it back before the changes begins she loses a shoe. Seconds later she sees the magic wearing off giving her an image of what could have happened if she stayed back for a minute longer. Cinderella obeys the order that she leave the ball by midnight, and in doing so, she sets up the ultimate test. The Prince must search her out for a second time.
So she uses that to defeat the evil and keep her baby. In Cinderella (good) now, her family was always rude (the stepsisters who were evil) to her even though she followed all the rules and did all the work she was told to do. The only person good to her was her godmother who was a mentor (based on archetype figures) because she was wise, helpful, motherly figure and she grants her with gifts. In the end the stepsisters get the bad karma because Cinderella got the kings son, and

Once the prince is finished with the two evil sisters, Cinderella comes out and while taking off her dirty shoe, her foot fits perfectly into the shoe. The prince and Cinderella are finally together, the prince knows Cinderella was the mystery women he had been searching for all along since her foot fit into the shoe. Cinderella and the prince return to his kingdom and live happily ever after. While the Disney story and the fairy tale version of the stories both end with happy endings the fairy tale is written with much more graphic images than the Disney
Cinderella once again breaks down and explains her entire life story to a stranger she just met. The floating woman once again gave a small twitch of annoyance, but again it was only detected by the man hiding in the brush. The woman smiles down at Cinderella and flicks her wand at Cinderella. Like magic the blonde’s clothes change to an elegant blue dress and all the dirt and grime of her life is washed away only to be replaced by makeup and cleanliness. A gasp escapes Cinderella’s lips, but the huntsman’s eyes just narrow in suspicion.
It is nearly impossible for a tale to be passed down generations and still stay the same. The fairy tale “Cinderella” told by the Grimm brothers is almost 206 years old, and differences can be seen between the modern “Cinderella” story and the original. In “Cinderella,” by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, a young girl named Cinderella is treated like a servant by her family. Luckily she is gifted with beautiful clothing, enabling her to attend a festival, meeting her one true love. Cinderella gets married to the prince, and the step-sisters are punished by getting pecked in the eyes by birds.
That is until the clock strikes midnight and cinderella pries herself away and bolts away from the castle before the spell wears off. She doesnt stop, not even when she loses one of her glass slippers on the stairs that lead up to the castle. She is completely jealous of cinderella and everyone can tell when she keeps talking about her with such distaste, and hate. Even though this play is very different than the Disney version of Cinderella, it 's still teaches us a very important lesson. It teaches us hot to find our true friends and also how to discover our true selves and do what is best for ourselves.
In Cinderella, Lady Tremaine was harsh towards her own stepdaughter. Not only was Lady Tremaine in a pugnacious relationship with Cinderella, so were the evil stepsisters. The stepsisters constantly wanted to perform better than Cinderella at everything. When Lady Tremaine disregards Cinderella’s desire to attend the ball, she takes her stepsisters in place of her. This caused the failure of Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters to create a familial relationship with Cinderella.
