This is because her art greatly embraces the female gender and the feminine body. It covers a broad aspect of the bodies of the younger versions of females as depicted by the dolls photography. On the other hand, it also covers the older generation by depicting the older generation through depicting their bodies in her photography. There is also the nature of a woman being a spectator in the various photographs she appears in. It is as if her photographs are double-sided. She is portraying the different sides of women making them appear powerful and in control. They can fit any situation and can easily adjust. On the other hand, the nature of femininity being depicted in the form of spectatorships might also make the women appear defenseless to some extent. They just look and watch as they are molded by situations into fitting particular characters.
