The Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian entertainment company, which according to critics and the public is considered one of the best all around the world. This amazing company, which was initially driven by street artists, has managed to become its art work in a unique show resulting in a 350 million dollars business yearly. As several specialized publications report, artists of the Cirque du Soleil explode very efficiently their habilities to perform an extra-class quality show. As experts state, although this company does not have competitors, it continually improves its work and introduces innovations that make it inimitable.

The first tour the Cirque du Soleil performed outside Canada took place in Los Angeles (US) in 1987, where they performed the show Reinventing the Circus. It was possible due to a loan of 1.5 million Canadian dollars the government granted the company in order to help them to buy the necessary equipment for the tour. This presentation was such a success that they continued touring in other US cities. Next, in 1990 they presented their first production in Europe and in 1992 in Asia.

Nowadays, the success of the Cirque du Soleil has been so great that it is estimated that more than 50 million spectators have attended its shows. The company currently has 21 shows, some of them are touring shows (like Amaluna, Varekai, Quidam, Corteo, etc.), while other are resident shows (like Mistère, La Nouba, Joyà, O, Kà, etc.).
